Comic Indie 2024

This past weekend I headed down to Houston to table at my first Comic Indie event. I got to meet a lot of really talented creators, made some really cool new fans, and just had a great time hanging out and talking all things indie comics.

It really felt like a shot in the arm to get to interact with other indie creators and discuss our projects, our challenges, and our successes together. To be honest, since finishing The Mugen Man I have found myself in a lot of creative false starts, really struggling to find the next project that grabs my attention and creativity. Coming out of this weekend, I’m feeling it again. I needed this. And I am so greatful to have been a part of it.

Thanks to everyone who helped organize this event and everyone who participated, but the biggest thanks goes to the readers who come out and check out indie comics. You’re the real heroes in all this!
